Directions
We are located just across the street from USAG Camp Red Cloud, on the fourth and fifth floors of a big brick building. Just follow the sign! We will be posting a map in the near future.
If you’re not connected with the military, take the Subway (Blue #1 line) to Nokyang Station or Ganeung Station. From Nokyang Station, bus 5 come right in front of Camp Red Cloud - just look for the big military base get off right after the gate. We’re right across the street. Look up. I don’t know for sure what bus comes from Ganeung Station. I suspect either the 1 or the 2. But from either station, telling a taxi driver CRC Cheung Mun will get you to the front gate.
If you’re from somewhere else in Uijongbu, busses 1, 2, 3, 5 and 133 stop right in front of CRC. I believe the stop is actually called something in relation to the university that’s right next to CRC. But I don’t know for sure.

Can you give me directions to your church. I live in Yangju and have only been in Korea for 7 weeks. I heard of your church when I went to the International Baptist Church in yongsan.
Thanks,
Jim
Jim, head to Seoul and find a subway station. Use the maps at the subway to get yourself to the Dark Blue line (Line #1) and head north. Get off the subway at Nogyang Station and catch bus 5. Get off bus five right outside the main gate of USAG Camp Red Cloud. Uijongbu Baptist church is right across the street - big red brick building. We’re on the fourth floor. Our Sunday School hour starts 10:00 am and our Worship service at 11am.
We’d love to see you here.

Comment by Wade Atkinson 08.23.07 @ 10:56 amPastor,
I know this is a long shot, but I’m looking for a certain girl. I was stationed at Camp Casey but she lived in Uijongbu. Are there any kind of services the Koreans offer to find people? Her name is Jang Sung Hi. I made the mistake in not marriyng her. This is an awkard request, I know, but I fell out of touch due to circumstances beyond my control. I attended the Shalom House in Tongduchon. If anything, thanks for reading this and smiling as you say “What a hopeless romantic!” Well, perhaps I am. Lords blessing and annointing on you.
Gene Roy

Updated Directions from Yangju:
I didn’t realize that Yangju was North until just recently. Find the Yangju subway station, and come south (toward Incheon) and get off at either Nokyang or Ganeung stops. Bus 5 from Nokyang takes you right to the front gate of Camp Red Cloud. I’m not sure which bus will go there from Ganeung. I’m thinking maybe the 1 or the 2, but don’t take my word for it. In either case, asking a taxi driver to take you to “CRC Chung Mun” (that’s Mun as in moon). will get you where you need to go and will cost you no more than 3,000 won (or should’t). On a good day it’ll only be 1,900 won.
Comment by SeismicMike 01.29.08 @ 9:45 amWanted you to know Shannon Park Baptist prayed for your church. Bro. Tom how does it feel to be a big boy now. Cathy and I send our love.
Comment by Kelly Weaver 03.06.08 @ 1:30 pmHey how are you doing?
My name is Emmanuel Nester, i was called Ismail before i received Jesus. I was a moslem, got saved about 4 years ago. I really loved serving God especially through evangelism from the time i got saved, and i still do. I have been able to lead thousands of people to Christ, i have pictures of me doing that if you would like to look at them. I got saved through the Rick via world reach ministries, and i have worked with them from the time i got saved. I lost my muslim family from being saved. I have felt God’s call for me to come to Korea and serve Him from there, from the time i met my Korean friend Kim, he was my roomate, but he is in Korea right now. I need help from you, please advise me on Korea, let me know more about ministry in Korea since you work there please.
Let me know more about your church too
By the way the ministry i work for was in Korea just last year.
I hope to hear from you soon.
God bless you
Wow what a beautiful story. I have read your blog for a long time and have never posted a comment…It is no wonder that you often don’t open up comments with all the wack jobs out in this world.
Comment by Heorr4565 04.11.08 @ 3:40 pmMy goodness … I just read the e-mail from Gene Roy and realized, I’m not the only hopeless romantic … except … I was stationed with the 51st Sig. Bn … down to the police station (if it’s still there) and a hard right up SR 51 (I think).
I would appreciate a return e-mail and help in locating a girl (now a woman) I knew in … are you sitting down? … 1966.
Thanks in advance.
WOW, it’s been 11 years since I attended UBC and my had too still hangs about 3-4 beams back. I did not know Pastor Kelley and Sister Joy was no longer there. I found some of their preaching tapes the other day and had to listen. Oh what a blessing and a joy those two were to me. I’d love to get a hold of them. I use to be Nelson, but circumstances changed that and how blessed I am now to be married to my own Minister… Keep up the work of the Lord. take care,
Glenda

Hi,
I was stationed at Camp Red Cloud around 1997-1998. I have a BDU hat hanging there. Have not kept in touch. From time to time I pull out some audio tapes and listen to Brother Kelly preach or I will listen here on the web. What a blessed preacher, He kept me on the right path. This evening I decided to pull up the ujbbc web site and to my suprise pastor Kelly is know longer there. Does he have e-mail where he can be reached?
Thanks
